What we're all about
North Wales Tactical Gun Range (N.W.T.G.R) began in 2018 with just a few of us coming together to do what we love. What started as a small group has since grown into a thriving shooting activity hub, welcoming participants from across North Wales and beyond.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our reach globally, now connecting with enthusiasts and professionals across Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia. N.W.T.G.R is proud to offer a wide range of experiences, from public sessions open to anyone, regardless of skill level, to specialized contracts with government agencies such as police forces and the Ministry of Defence.

Our dedicated team will teach you all the safety and weapon handling knowledge you need for a fun, stress-free experience.
Choose from a variety of original Sig Sauer Training rifles, these rifles are the same that the US special forces train with.

Our course is set with several targets ranging from 5ft to 70ft in and around our professional skills house. Learn to manoeuvre the course whilst handling and operating these rifles like the professionals do.
You can even compete against your friends! You get 2 magazines and a shot timer. Best score and time wins!

Course Details
This introductory-level course is designed for beginners to gain a foundational understanding of firearms. You will receive in-depth training on the safe handling of various firearms, including multiple caliber rifles such as 5.56, 7.62 & 9mm pistols, and fully automatic rifles and pistols.
​
Throughout the day, you’ll immerse yourself in the basics of firearm handling and tactical/practical shooting. The course covers essential skills such as safely handling firearms, loading ammunition, and operating and firing a range of weapon systems.
​
To cap off the experience, participants will take part in a friendly competition with awards, offering an exciting way to put your new skills to the test in a supportive environment.

ADVANCED
Once you’ve completed this basic course, you’ll have the opportunity to advance to our specialized programs, including the HEFC (Hostile Environment Firearms Course), which focuses on operating firearms in challenging environments. We also offer a range of other advanced training options, such as Tactical Drone Operations, Live CQB (Close-Quarters Battle) courses, Close Protection Training, and more. These programs are designed to take your skills to the next level and prepare you for specialized scenarios.
