Declaration Under Section 21 of The Firearms Act 1968

It is an offence for a person who is prohibited by Section 21 of The Firearms Act 1968 to have a firearm or ammunition in his/her possession at any time. This section applies to any person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or to youth custody or detention in any young offenders’ institution for three months or more. The period for which they are prohibited depends on the length of their sentence, if the sentence was longer than three years the prohibition is for life. It is an offence for a person to transfer, let, hire, or lend a firearm or ammunition to someone whom he/she knows or has reasonable grounds for believing to be prohibited person. Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 This covers persons who are banned from being in possession of firearms or ammunition. It is an offence for a shooting range operator to knowingly allow persons who are banned under section 21 from using guns at the range, whether or not there is a section 11(6) permit in operation. NWTGR will only allow permission on the range if the designated range officer is satisfied that the person has successfully shown safe weapon handling and competence. Consent Declaration I hereby declare that I have never had a firearm or shotgun application refused or such a certificate revoked. I also declare that I am not a person prohibited by virtue of Section 21 of The Firearms Act 1968.

Waiver Liability Release Form

This agreement releases NWTGR (North Wales Tactical Gun Range) from all liability relating to injuries that may occur {during activities, on location}. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold NWTGR entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. I also acknowledge the risks involved in the activities of {Airgun Shooting, Axe Throwing}. These risks include but are not limited to (Death and Serious Injury). I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been or will be made clear to me prior commencement. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. By signing below, I forfeit all right to bring a suit against NWTGR for any reason. In return, I will receive participation in activities on location. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.
